Custom Woodworking FAQs

Pricing

Custom furniture and millwork projects typically begin at $5,000+, with larger architectural work scaling higher based on size, materials, and design complexity.

The FAQ page of Rogue Aesthetic Woodwork addresses common questions from prospective clients about custom furniture and millwork commissions. Pricing starts at $5,000+ for larger architectural and signature pieces like custom altars, built-ins, and statement furniture, scaling based on size, materials, and complexity; smaller items are priced individually after consultation.

The commissioning process begins with an in-person consultation (for clients in the High Springs/Gainesville area) or a virtual one (for clients elsewhere), followed by design development, material and timeline confirmation, a written proposal, fabrication with progress updates, and delivery or installation. Most projects take several weeks to a few months, with larger architectural installations taking longer.

The studio is based in High Springs, FL and serves the greater Gainesville metro area — including Alachua and Newberry — in person, while designing remotely and shipping nationwide for clients elsewhere. In-home installation is available locally, with setup instructions or coordinated local installer support for shipped pieces.

Work is done primarily in solid hardwoods sourced from North Florida, with species selection (walnut, white oak, maple, and others) guided by durability needs and aesthetic goals. Commissions can start from a client's own sketch, photo reference, or existing piece to be reimagined. To begin, clients are directed to request a consultation with a project description, location, and inspiration images.
