I’m Mick Phelan, the craftsman and founder of Rogue Aesthetic Woodwork, a custom woodworking studio based in High Springs, Florida, serving clients throughout Gainesville, North Florida, and nationwide. With over a decade of hands-on woodworking experience, I operate on a design first philosophy: every piece of wood has an inherent character, and my role is to shape it into its intended form.

The business is explicitly structured as a one-person operation rather than a production shop. I personally handle every stage of a build, from milling lumber and cutting joinery to finishing and delivery, with no outsourcing or assembly-line methods.

Every project begins with understanding the client's space, family needs, and how the finished piece will be lived with day to day. Work is built exclusively from solid hardwoods using construction methods selected for long-term durability rather than speed or cost-cutting. The studio does not compete on price, rush builds, or mass-produce. My priority is instead centered on longevity, design integrity, and craftsmanship.

While rooted locally in High Springs and the greater Gainesville area, Rogue Aesthetic Woodwork also designs, builds, and ships custom furniture nationwide.
